the future—so opaque and oppressive
to consider
is pure
fiction—and written
in a language
far too
enigmatic to engage with.
As such—so much
the less likely
stands the possibility
of any
intelligent conversation—let alone impassioned
debate taking place
between that
and this place
which shall be hereafter
flatly called—
the past.
