of proud yellow diggers
brightly gobble the Red Line—
while anonymous
workers
in blue hats lean easy spitting
tobacco
juice in shade—content
just to follow
a plan—
in which
part of erecting
a better tomorrow—
is eager-
ly wrecking a decent one.
