CTRL Z

Whiteboard erasers, pink
rubber on pencils, back-
space keys: these are

interesting things, but
what do we really
know about undoing?

It seems like
any erasure we
could make

just leaves crumbs
in its wake and creates
extra work.

Are we not fools
to presume
we could ruin

the fact that
we never should have
acted at all?

Is there really any
positive action
we could take

that would somehow
add up to
complete subtraction

and grant us that
precious spent
energy back?
